A long-time friend
Founded in 1962 by John S Gorton and originally named Life and Home Services Ltd, we became Stanmore Insurance Brokers Ltd 17 years later in 1979. Then, 19 years later, David Beesley who joined in 1983 became the owner of Stanmore, while our Managing Director Jackie Hyde, who joined in 1988, purchased shares herself in 2001.
