Our relationship as a patron of Bolton Lads and Girls Club (BLGC) is especially important to us, as the club plays a crucial role in supporting young people across the town and we regularly raise funds to help support their fantastic work. We are proud to be active supporters of the She Inspires Awards as the headline sponsor; honouring women who change the world.
A standout moment for us is always the presentation of the Stacey Stepping Stone Initiative, supported and developed by Jackie Hyde in honour of the tremendous Stacey Withington.
Our community focus also extends to sport. We are proud to be a Gold Business Partner of Bolton Wanderers Football Club for this season. Seeing our brand displayed at The Toughsheet Stadium is a strong expression of our pride in the town and our commitment to supporting major local institutions. The dedication and resilience of the Bolton Wanderers Women’s Team continues to inspire us and for that reason we support them as the official back of shorts partner.
Education and skills development remain central to our values. Jackie Hyde sits on the Centre for Leadership and Empowerment at the University of Greater Manchester, contributing insight and supporting leadership development across the region. In 2025 we also began supporting a PhD project exploring the growing challenges of SEND in Early Years. Our focus on developing people was recognised when we received The Apprentice, Training & Skills Award at the Bolton News Business Awards for our commitment to apprenticeships, staff development and skills growth.
We continue to help local organisations access funding and opportunities. Each year we nominate charities for the Aviva Broker Community Fund, which has supported groups such as The Hollins Conservation Group, Girls Out Loud and Orange Hub, the latter receiving £10,000 to support victims of domestic violence. Alongside this work, we also support local wellbeing initiatives including the Bereavement Café, which provides a vital safe space for those facing loss.
After all, without Bolton and those who live here, we could not have got to where we are today, and for that, we are forever thankful.
